Alta3 Research – Instructor-Led Training Terms and Conditions)
1. Course Registration and Order Process
Customers must complete the applicable order form through the order page on Alta3 Research’s website to complete registration in an instructor-led open enrollment course. Students will receive detailed connection instructions approximately five (5) business days prior to the course start date.
Orders for private course deliveries must be arranged by contacting sales@alta3.com.
2. Schedule and Communication
Alta3 Research’s course offerings and scheduled dates are listed on individual course pages at alta3.com and are updated periodically. Alta3 Research reserves the right to change schedules, add or remove courses, and modify pricing at any time without prior notice.
Courses are generally scheduled weekdays between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. ET with a lunch break of approximately one hour.
By registering, Customers consent to receive communications from Alta3 Research related to the course or other relevant offerings. Customers may opt out at any time.
3. Course Materials and Intellectual Property
An Alta3 Research “Student” is defined as a single user license. Each Student must provide an active individual email address, first name, and last name for account creation.
Students are granted a personal, non-transferable license to access Training Materials via Alta3 Research’s Learning Management System (“Alta3 Live”) for one (1) year starting from the date of account activation.
Students may not:

Share, transfer, or sublicense their access.

Copy, reproduce, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Training Materials.

Record online or onsite course sessions through any means.
Alta3 Research retains all ownership rights to its intellectual property, including copyrights, trademarks, service marks, and trade secrets. License violations will result in immediate revocation of access without refund.
4. Payment Terms
Payment must be received at the time of registration or a valid Purchase Order (PO) must be submitted. Payment by invoice must comply with the stated invoice terms.
Alta3 Research accepts ACH transfer, check, or credit card payments. For credit card transactions, Customer consents to the use of a third-party payment processor.
Alta3 Research reserves the right to suspend or cancel registration if payment is not received by the due date.
Alta3 Research cannot apply discount codes retroactively to previously placed orders.
Alta3 Research is not responsible for Customer travel, lodging, or other incidental costs.
5. Open Enrollment Course Cancellation and Rescheduling Policies
5.1 Course Cancellation by Alta3 Research
Alta3 Research reviews course enrollments at least ten (10) business days before the course start date. Alta3 Research may cancel or reschedule courses at its discretion due to low enrollment, instructor illness, or events outside its control. If cancellation or rescheduling occurs, Customers will be notified via email and may transfer their registration to another course within twelve (12) months of the original course date.
5.2 Customer Rescheduling (Open Enrollment Courses)

Customers may reschedule by emailing sales@alta3.com at least ten (10) business days prior to the course start date. Rescheduled courses must be completed within twelve (12) months of the original course date.

If rescheduling is requested fewer than ten (10) business days prior to the start, all fees paid or owed are forfeited and non-refundable. However, Customers may enroll once in a future Guaranteed-To-Run (GTR) course within six (6) months at no additional cost. If no GTR course is available within six (6) months, all fees are forfeited.
5.3 Customer Cancellations (Open Enrollment Courses)

Customers may cancel their enrollment by providing written notice via email to sales@alta3.com at least ten (10) business days before the course start date.

If canceled on time, Customers will receive a full credit applicable toward a future session of the same course title within twelve (12) months of the original course date.

If the Customer elects to apply the credit toward a different course title with a higher tuition fee, the Customer will be responsible for paying the difference at the time of re-enrollment.

No cash refunds will be provided.

Cancellations made fewer than ten (10) business days before the course start date will result in forfeiture of all fees paid or owed.

Failure to attend a course without prior cancellation or rescheduling according to these terms results in forfeiture of all fees paid or owed.
5.4 Student Substitutions (Open Enrollment Courses)

Customers may substitute another individual to attend the course in place of the originally registered Student at no additional charge, provided that written notice is given to sales@alta3.com before the course start date.

The substitute Student must meet any stated course prerequisites.

If a substitution is made, access credentials and course materials will be reassigned accordingly.

No substitutions are permitted once the course has begun.
5.5 Expiration of Training Services
All training services must be used within twelve (12) months of the original purchase date. Unused services expire without refund or reimbursement.
6. Private Instructor-Led Course Cancellation Policy

If the Customer reschedules or cancels a private course 11–20 business days prior to the scheduled start date, a fee equal to 25% of the base delivery price will be charged.

If rescheduling or cancellation occurs 10 business days or fewer prior to the start date, a fee equal to 50% of the base delivery price will be charged, plus any non-refundable expenses (e.g., airfare, hotel, travel costs).

If payment has already been made, the total amount paid minus applicable cancellation penalties will be refunded by check within thirty (30) days.
7. Student Connection Test Requirements (Virtual Training)

Students must access the Alta3 Research Learning Management System (live.alta3.com) using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

Students must test their lab connectivity at test.alta3.com. A successful test will display a “Live Connectivity Test Success” message.

Students are responsible for maintaining internet connectivity and technical equipment during the course. Alta3 Research is not responsible for student-side technical failures.
8. Onsite Training Requirements
Customers must provide:

Reliable, high-speed internet (minimum 100 Mbps symmetrical per student).

Backup internet recommended.
-
High-Definition projector (1920x1080 resolution or greater), large screen, extension cords, and power strips.

Student computers with Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge installed.
Corporate firewalls or security filtering must allow unrestricted access to:

Lab connectivity must be tested one (1) week prior to course start.
Students are responsible for travel, lodging, and meals unless otherwise agreed.
9. Student Conduct
Alta3 Research reserves the right to remove any Student without refund if they engage in:

Disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior.

Unauthorized recording of training sessions.
-
Violations of acceptable use policies.
10. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Alta3 Research does not guarantee any particular outcome, certification success, job placement, or career advancement as a result of course participation.
11. Force Majeure
Alta3 Research shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, pandemics, labor disputes, or major network disruptions.
12. General Terms
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Alta3 Research reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without notice.
